  • 1 cup Integral rice
  • 1 cup pumpkin chopped into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

While you may think that coconut oil would have the opposite effect on your dog's digestion, this small amount will do his gut some good.

It is packed with prebiotic benefits and has natural anti-inflammatory properties. Not only will it help get your dog's gastrointestinal tract working again, but it will also help relieve any inflammation that is causing intestinal discomfort.

First, melt the coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken in the oil.

Boil or bake the pumpkin until soft. Cook rice according to package directions.

Serving Size Recommendation
